What HammerConnect is

HammerConnect is a platform that helps homeowners and property managers find licensed trade contractors, and helps contractors send quotes, get paid and recommend each other for work outside their specialty.

HammerConnect introduces and provides the software. The contractor you hire sells and performs the work and is responsible for it. HammerConnect does not perform trade work and is not the contractor.

How it works

  1. Ask

    Tell us what work you need.

  2. Get a quote

    A licensed contractor sends you a clear quote.

  3. Pay through Stripe

    You pay the contractor through Stripe, by card or bank payment, when the work is complete.

  4. Confirm

    Review the work. If something is wrong, tell us within 7 days.

Fees

10%platform fee, paid by the contractor on completed jobs

Customers do not pay a HammerConnect fee. The price you pay is the contractor’s quoted price. Card processing costs are borne by the contractor. Large jobs can be paid by bank transfer (ACH).

Problems, disputes and refunds

Report a problem within 7 days after the job is marked complete, by emailing hello@hammerconnect.com. We hold only the disputed amount while we review, ask the contractor to respond, and then decide whether to release, partially refund or fully refund the held amount.

This does not limit any legal rights you have, including your rights with your card issuer.
